Advisor to Turkish Embassy Visits BSU
On June 8, 2023, Rector Elchin Babayev of Baku State University (BSU) had a meeting with Nurullah Feyzi Yazici, the Education Advisor of the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the rector informed the guest that the majority of foreign students at BSU are from Turkey. Elchin Babayev mentioned that Turkish students often choose majors such as sociology, psychology, and jurisprudence. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to further increase the number of Turkish students studying at BSU.
Nurullah Feyzi Yazici, the advisor to the Turkish Embassy, highlighted the significance of education in strengthening the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood. He mentioned that regular meetings are held with Turkish students studying in Azerbaijani universities and that an electronic portal will be established for their convenience.
The meeting revolved around matters related to the education of Turkish students at BSU and addressed other topics of interest.
