Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud
Like a TX relative said to me, it's a lot easier to wipe sweat off one's brow than to wipe off ice.
The one just north of Houston, right? About the same here, but on Monday and Tuesday we're expecting some absolutely ice-cream weather, lows in the low 60s, highs in the low 80s. Cannot beat it.
Perhaps it is easier to wipe off sweat, but you can always pile on more clothes. At some point there's nothing left to take off.
