WT Cares Program

WHAT IS TAEKWONDO
CARES PROGRAM?
The WT Taekwondo Cares Program was launched in early 2016 to help fulfill WT’s social responsibility as an international sport federation under the IOC. The program is designed to promote taekwondo as a sport for all, particularly in developing countries. Through this initiative, WT reaches out to disadvantaged groups such as orphans, street children, reformatory inmates, individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, and victims of domestic violence.

The WT Taekwondo Cares Program forms part of the WT Development & Education Department’s development initiatives. It works in cooperation with other NGOs to implement global Cares activities.
