Pavement Team is conducting studies on rational and economical
management of pavement, evaluation of pavement performance,
and theoretical pavement structure design method aiming to effectively
utilize Japan's precious assets for a long period of time. It
is also investigating pavement technologies that improve the
roadside environment to construct comfortable and safe cities
and promote recycling.
