Moving to a new stage through business restructuring
NIDEC COMPONENTS provides a wide variety of potentiometers with wire-wound type, conductive plastic type, and cermet type of resistance elements, as well as single-turn, multi-turn, and linear displace type. Furthermore, the optical contactless type potentiometer boasts an overwhelmingly long life.
Due to business restructuring within the Nidec Group, we have taken over the development design / manufacturing function of potentiometers in addition to the existing sales in 2019. We will boldly challenge “Position Sensing”, which is a new sensing technology area for us.
With the addition of Midori Precisions Co., Ltd.—a dedicated manufacturer of potentiometers, inclinometers and encoders—to our group in 2023, we are poised to achieve further growth of the Position Sensing business by capitalizing on the powerful synergies created.
