Training Institute for Correctional Personnel
What is the Training Institute for Correctional Personnel?
The Training Institute for Correctional Personnel is an institution under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice for the purpose of enhancing the personalities and insights of correctional practitioners by training their minds and bodies, while also enabling correctional personnel to learn the science and techniques necessary to work in prisons, juvenile prisons, detention houses, juvenile training schools and juvenile classification homes nationwide.
Training plays an important role in human resources development in any organization, but particularly in the field of corrections, which includes the treatment of offenders and delinquents. The importance of its social mission and the complexity of human understanding gives it special meaning.
In its more than 100-year history, the Training Institute for Correctional Personnel has accurately read the changes of the times, organized a flexible curriculum, and trains correctional personnel who can be successful now and in the future.
