To authenticate users attempting to connect a PC to the MIND network, MIND Mobile Connection Services make use of a Common Authentication System Account or a MIND Mobile Account.
Persons having a Common Authentication System Account (students and faculty) can use MIND Mobile Connection Services without needing to apply in advance.(*1)
(*1) Note that students cannot use MIND Mobile Connection Services without having attended
MIND Introductory Course.
Persons not having a Common Authentication System Account (mainly research promoters, research assistants, and visiting fellows) will need to apply separately for a MIND Mobile Account.
