- This feature was brought about by Stephen LaPorte, the Wikipedia IFTTT web service developer. He decided that the Wikipedia IFTTT web service should also support RSS such that users of this product will not need to go through https://ifttt.com to access this information.
- The main idea here is that there should be a means by which users can subscribe directly to the RSS for each feed(basically triggers) and then get updates using their feed readers. This task was assigned to me and its almost complete.
- Once its done, it will be deployed to the main app and then tested live and will be used by the users of Wikipedia.
- A link to the PR on Github can be seen here: https://github.com/slaporte/ifttt/pull/3/files X-Savitar (talk) 23:35, 11 April 2016 (UTC) Reply

- Hello Jyothis, my account was unlocked. I have changed all my passwords and made sure to step up security. I wish I had the 2FA feature to activate for my account. But I hope everything should be ok now. Thanks for the advice. :) X-Savitar (talk) 19:30, 28 November 2016 (UTC) Reply

Hi!
Sorry I forgot in my hurry to comment my edits. I just removed Lingua Libre from the New Developers page, because the linked project is deprecated since september 2017. Since this project grant, we're making a complete rewrite of it. The consequences are that the links are not up to date anymore, and the new version of the project is not ready to welcome developers with little experience of MediaWiki (yet).

- Hello @0x010C,
- Thanks for the clarification. This all makes perfect sense. I didn't see a comment and was wondering but thanks again for clarifying. Also, sorry for quickly reverting your edit :)

Hello, greetings from a translator, and I wish to inform you a design issue. On mobile small screen, I use iPhone 6S, Translations:Africa Wikimedia Developers Project/Page display title/en overflows to the group logo. Maybe smaller fonts, or line-break between each word? (which I tried on /ja sentence but not sure.)
Good luck to your very important initiative. Cheers, Omotecho (talk) 06:19, 14 October 2019 (UTC) Reply

Hi. Do you still need your account creator user right? DannyS712 (talk) 05:59, 19 January 2021 (UTC) Reply
- Hi @DannyS712. I've not used it for a while but the only issue is I might need it in future.
- For now, I'm not using it regularly but as I see myself having MediaWiki related events in future (which might consist a group of people on the same network).
- I don't know how this works but if I've exceeded the amount of time without usage, you can remove the right and if I need it in the future, I'll request it again. Thank you very much! X-Savitar (talk) 11:28, 20 January 2021 (UTC) Reply
- I don't think there is a policy about how long you can have it, I was just wondering if you still needed it or if it could be removed DannyS712 (talk) 02:38, 21 January 2021 (UTC) Reply
- If it's need, I think I'm gonna need it but for now, I'm not actively using it.
- Thanks! X-Savitar (talk) 09:42, 21 January 2021 (UTC) Reply
Could I suggest that {{WikiTeq LTS notice }} be added lower down on extension pages? Or perhaps have additional information in it? Because as it stands, it's a big important notice at the top, but at that point the reader has no idea what WikiTeq is nor why it matters that they only provide "official support for MediaWiki LTS releases". I'd suggest leading with something like "This extension is maintained by MediaWiki consulting firm WikiTeq." Sam Wilson 08:21, 19 January 2023 (UTC) Reply
- Cc @Tosfos, what do you think about this? X-Savitar (talk) 16:06, 22 January 2023 (UTC) Reply
- We should combine the 2 templates and put it at the top. Ike Hecht 16:35, 22 January 2023 (UTC) Reply
- Does this approach sound good? Ike Hecht 21:04, 31 January 2023 (UTC) Reply
- Sounds good to me. :), not sure how big the template will be (in terms of space) but will see when it's on a page. X-Savitar (talk) 20:05, 13 February 2023 (UTC) Reply
