Template talk:IRC

When the second parameter starts with a hash character (e.g. {{irc|pywikibot|#pywikibot channel}}) it will interpret that # as wikitext and create a list: #pywikibot channel ^connect . Now when I remove the if condition so that it always adds the second parameter it works though: #works not ^connect — xZise [talk] 13:30, 30 June 2015 (UTC) Reply

Yes Done. For future reference, you shouldn't move doc pages like Template:IRC/doc before the base page is moved; it not only assumes the move will be performed, but gets in the way of the translate extension's automatic page move feature (so I had to move it back). * Pppery * _{it has begun} 16:44, 1 October 2021 (UTC) Reply
