Graduate Program Application Deadlines
Some of our graduate programs have specific application deadlines (see schedule below for details). Departments that do not have specific deadlines offerrolling admission.
All application materials must be received by the application deadlines below. If the application deadline to the program in which you are applying to falls on a weekend, your application materials will be processed the following business day.
Rolling Admission
Rolling admission allows you to apply any time before the following dates:
- Financial aid priority consideration- February 15
- Fall term admission: August 1- (June 1 for international applicants)
- Spring term admission: December 15 (October 1 for international applicants)
Program
Deadline
Biological Sciences
For full consideration, applications should be submitted by December 1st (or the following Monday if the 1st falls on a weekend) for admittance for the following fall term.
Chemistry
Applications completed by December 15 will receive priority consideration. After this date, Rolling Admission as space permits.
Communication
Rolling Admission The deadlines for financial aid priority consideration are February 15 for the following fall term an November 15 for the following spring term.
Trinity Fellows applicants must apply by January 15.
Dentistry-Dental Biomaterials
February 1 for the Dental Biomaterials program to be considered for the fall entry class. Spring semester entry is possibly every other year (even years). The program director notifies admitted students regarding the starting date for their program.
Dentistry-Endodontics
July 15 for the advanced specialty program in Endodontics starting in June of the following year.
Educational Leadership
March 31: Priority deadline for summer admission. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis after the priority deadline.
July 15: Priority deadline for fall admission. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis after the priority deadline.
- If applying to the Trinity Fellows program (fall starts and full-time students only), applications must be submitted by January 15.
December 15: Priority deadline for spring admission. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis after the priority deadline.
Nursing
Adult-Gero Acute Care NP MSN, Certificate, DNP: February 15th deadline for Fall; November 15th deadline for Spring
Adult-Gero Primary Acute Care NP MSN, Certificate, DNP: Rolling Admission for Fall & Spring
Nurse Midwifery MSN, Certificate: February 15th deadline for Fall; November 15th deadline for Spring
Pediatric Acute Care NP MSN, Certificate, DNP: Rolling Admissions for Fall & Spring
Pediatric Primary Care NP MSN, Certificate, DNP: Rolling Admissions for Fall & Spring
Pediatric Dual Acute/Primary Care NP MSN, Certificate, DNP: Rolling Admissions for Fall & Spring
Post-Master’s DNP: Rolling Admission
Teaching Certificate for Nurse Educators: Rolling Admission
Ph.D.: January 15 for Summer start only
Nurse Anesthesia DNP: January 15 for Fall start only
Direct Entry MSN for non-nurses:
- Spring Start: January (Applications close in November)
- Summer Start: May (Applications close in January)
- Fall Start: August (Applications close in May)
Public Service
Rolling Admission. The deadlines for financial aid priority consideration are February 15 for the following fall term and November 15 for the following spring term.
Trinity Fellows applicants must apply by January 15.
Speech-Language Pathology
January 15 for the following fall term. Students admitted to the Speech-Language Pathology program are not permitted to defer their admission.
The deadline to notify the Speech, Language and Pathology Department that you accept the offer of admission for the fall term is April 15.
Student Affairs in Higher Education
December 1st – priority consideration for international students interested in graduate assistantships. January 15 – priority consideration for domestic students interested in graduate assistantships. Admitted students will be invited to attend the SAHE Interview Day (held in mid-February). This program starts in the fall term.
Superintendent Certificate
Priority Application Deadlines
- For a summer start: April 15
- For a fall start: July 15
- For a spring start: November 15
After these dates, applications are considered on a rolling basis.
