Hyper Hydrants is a 2-vs-2 minigame found in Mario Party 3 .
Overview[edit ]
One player pumps the water as their teammate tries putting out the flames created by a giant Podoboo, earning them points. The team that ends with the most points wins, though if both have the same, it is a draw.
Controls[edit ]

- Control Stick – Aim water
- A Button – Spray
Player pumping the water[edit ]
- A Button – Push pump down
- B Button or Z Button – Pull pump up
In-game text[edit ]
- Game Rules – "Douse the flames from the Podoboo. The team that puts out the most flames, wins."
- Advice – "The hose will spray when you press A Button. But the distance you can reach will become shorter."
Naming[edit ]
"Hyper Hydrants" is a possible play on "hyperhydration".
