Floating Voices first appears in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! , where it goes unnamed in the English localization. In Dribble & Spitz's story, the two pick up a young boy or girl (named after the player) who asks to be taken to the sea, recalling a voice sounding just like it. When they arrive at the pier, the person walks to the edge, transforms into a merperson in front of them, and jumps in the sea, bidding them farewell. This same pier makes another appearance in the game's ending cutscene, where Wario's employees watch as he and Dr. Crygor fall into the sea.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves[edit ]

Floating Voices reappears under its current name in WarioWare: Smooth Moves , where the map of Diamond City features the location when zoomed in.
