Eligibility to rent a home:

  • Must be a First Nation member residing in Thompson
  • Must have a completed application and placed on the waiting list:
  • Tenants are responsible for Hydro and Utilities
  • Core need -affordabily and/or a suitability Income Threshold
  • Basic rent is calculated at 30% monthy income household

24 & 28 Units Eligibility(Mb Housing)

  • Must be a First Nation member residing in Thompson
  • A completed application and placed on the waiting list:
  • Qualified tenants will fit into EIA/RGI/Affordable & Market Rents depending on household size and monthly income.
  • KHAI are responsible for Hydro and Utilities.

Khai-Capital Plan

  • Work will be starting on the Housing Units as soon as the $ come in for the Capital work:
  • Projects will be awarded through tendered contracts.
