Debriefing Session for Country Focused Training "Northern Namibia Small-Scale Farmers’ Livelihood Enhancement Project"

Country focused training "Northern Namibia Small-Scale Farmers’ Livelihood Enhancement Project" was conducted from 14 October 2024 to 2 November 2024 at JICA Obihiro Center.
A total of 10 Namibians, including agricultural technician, participated in this training program, which aims to increase the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of small-scale farmers.
At the debriefing session, the participants presented what they had learned and felt during the two-week training in Obihiro, including livestock production techniques and how to create an action plan, and participants freely exchanged opinions.
Mr. Ben Haraseb (Acting Deputy Executive Director, DAPEES), who summarized the briefing session, commented, "We hope that the knowledge gained in Japan will be shared with farmers and that they will continue to actively engage in the Action Plan activities."
