JICA President Tanaka Met with Prime Minister of Uganda Nabbanja

On October 9, JICA President Tanaka Akihiko met with Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja of the Republic of Uganda at JICA headquarters in Tokyo.

At the outset, President Tanaka mentioned that Uganda has been playing a significant role for regional peace and stability through hosting refugees.

In response, Prime Minister Nabbanja expressed her gratitude for JICA's cooperation in a wide range of fields such as infrastructure and peacebuilding.

Both parties further exchanged views regarding ongoing road construction projects and future cooperation.
