On August 7, JICA President Tanaka Akihiko met with First Vice President Stephan Brunner Neibig and other key cabinet members from the Republic of Costa Rica at JICA Global Plaza.

In response, First Vice President Brunner conveyed appreciation for JICA’s cooperation in Costa Rica and highlighted the importance of Japan’s interpersonal cooperation, which has facilitated numerous people-to-people exchanges over the past 50 years.
