Emergency Assistance to Myanmar in Response to the Earthquake

The Japan International Cooperation Agency will provide emergency relief goods as below in response to the Earthquake disaster, upon the request from The United Nations (UN).

1. Disaster situation
Earthquake, which occurred around 12:50 (local time) on 28th March 2025, have been causing serious human and property damage. According to the Myanmar national media, the damage situation as of March 29 was as follows:

Deaths [1,644]
Injured [3,408]
Missing [139]

2. Goods supplied
A. Emergency relief goods
Hygine Kits
Water purifier
Bottled Water

B. Distribution schedule
The goods will be distributed as soon as they are procured by the UN.
