Registration to the WSIS Forum 2009 was opened on 18
March 2009. In order to register please use

Please note that the badges issued by ITU will give you the right to enter the ITU Headquarter in order to attend the WSIS Forum 2009 taking place from 18-22 May 2009. In addition, the same badge will give you the possibility to enter the Palais des Nations on 25 and 26 May 2009 in order to attend the first two days of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD), i.e. the opening day and and the Panel day. During these two days, the CSTD shall discuss progress made in the implementation of and follow-up to WSIS outcomes at regional and international levels. For more information, please see here.
Representatives of NGOs and business entities who would like to attend the whole CSTD would still have to register with the CSTD Secretariat (and would need to be in consultative status with ECOSOC or have former WSIS accreditation, or fall under the exceptions decided by ECOSOC). Those persons would then receive a CSTD badge for the week 25-28 May, to be delivered by UNOG Security.
