How to Fast Travel

Sailing the high seas can be a little time-consuming (and dangerous), but fortunately, you can fast travel in Windrose. You can build your own fast travel points at the shoreline using a fast travel bell, and there are also fast travel points you’ll come across on your adventures, at faction hubs and other landmarks.

You can travel to any fast travel point on your map while you’re sailing your boat or ship - note that simply standing on it isn’t enough.

How to Make a Fast Travel Bell

A Fast Travel Bell can be constructed at a level 1 Workbench using 10 Copper Ingots and 3 Rope.

How to Build a Fast Travel Point

Once you’ve got the bell, you can build a Fast Travel Point anywhere near the shoreline using 1 Fast Travel Bell and 20 Wood.

You can only have 10 Fast Travel Points up at once, but you get all the resources back if you delete one, so don't hold back - set up as many as you need!

Tip: If you'd like your Fast Travel Point to be a bit further out in the ocean, you can connect it to a Pier, which can be found under Prebuilt Structures.

How to Fast Travel

While you're steering your boat or ship, or after interacting with an existing Fast Travel Point, you'll see the Fast Travel compass points on your map.

If Fast Travel is available, these compass points will be surrounded with gold highlights, and the tooltip in the middle of the screen will confirm you're good to go.

Just click on any of these map points to be transported there instantly!
