Blue Pikmin are the third and final type of Pikmin Olimar will encounter in Pikmin 1; they’re found in The Forest Navel. Seemingly due to the mouth-like feature on their face, Blue Pikmin are the only kind that can survive in water. Additionally, Blue Pikmin can be used to rescue drowning Pikmin, tossing their brethren to safety.
