Ecology
With black fur and red eyes, this wyvern resembles a fierce predator cat. Nargacuga rests high in trees to avoid coming in contact with that it wishes to avoid. It moves with agility and speed, and has retractable spikes on its tail it will use as a mace and a warning rattle against enemies. When enraged its eyes glow red and leave a trail of light as it moves about.
Monster Strategy
As mentioned above, the Nargacuga is extremely agile and quick. It will follow you across the map tracking you down and swiping at you with quick strikes. It has several different tail attacks including a 360 tail swipe and a massive tail attack that can hit you with a flip of its body. It becomes especially aggressive when enraged. Don't be afraid to use other areas for healing and a break from the fight to take Nargacuga out.
