Low Rank

This page contains information on the Low Rank tier of Quests.

Low Rank will be the first thing you encounter in Monster Hunter Generations and Generations Ultimate if starting a new game. Since it's not clearly stated in Generations, Low Rank consists of any of the quests in areas not including the Hunter's Hub. In Generations Ultimate it makes clear that this includes 1-6 Star quests.

In Low Rank, your hunter will always start in camp and be handed a useful set of items for the quest ahead in the item box. Monsters won't do as much damage as in High Rank or G-Rank, and progress at a steady pace of difficulty for new hunters.
