Unlockable Machines Guide - All Machines
In Kirby Air Riders, you can unlock 28 Machines for characters to ride. Only three of these will be available at the start of the game, including Warp Star, Winged Star, and Wagon Star. Like with character unlocks, obtaining new machines is locked behind the completion of specific tasks, or they need to be bought from shops. This depends on the mode you are currently playing.

How to Unlock Machines
To unlock Machines in Kirby Air Riders, you will need to complete challenges or spend Miles at the Miles shop. The requirements are determined based on the game being played.
The progress of challenge unlocks can be viewed in the Checklist menu, which can be accessed by hitting 'ZL' in the character selector. Unlocked machines can be viewed in the tabs for each game mode, and the squares around unlocked items will give hints for how to unlock missing collectibles.
How to Customize Machines
To customize Machines in Kirby Air Riders, you will need to open the main menu and navigate to "My Machine".
From here, you can select the Machine they would like to customize. This will take you to the customization menu where colors, patterns, accessories, devals, effects, and sounds can be added to all unlocked Machines.
You can earn new customization items by completing Checklist challenges and by spending Miles at the Miles Shop.
