Find the Fates - Post Game Guide
If you thought completing the main story and rolling credits in Hades 2 was the end of Melinoe's adventure, you were wrong about that. The main story concludes the Chronos saga and restores the House of Hades, but there is still one big question lurking in the back of everyone's mind in the Crossroads. Where are the three Fates? Answering that question is the crux of the post-game in Hades 2. If you want to learn exactly how to figure it out, you will find everything you need in this Hades 2 guide.
How to Trigger the Post Game in Hades 2
The post-game and Melinoe's adventure to save the Fates is locked behind the credits in Hades 2. That means you have to defeat Chronos seven or more times, defeat Typhon for good, defeat Chronos again for good, and then work through the Epilogue that plays out after unlocking the True Ending.
After watching the credits and returning to the Crossroads, talk to Moros, and he will mention some strange goings on with the Fated List. Check out the list to find that your first task on your adventure to find the Fates has finally updated.

Melinoe, Help Us
The Melinoe, Help Us prophecy is one that appears on the Fated List of Prophecies somewhat early on in your adventure. It is one of the most mysterious prophecies on the list, and introduces the issue of the Fates being missing from their posts in the Underworld due to Chronos throwing them out when he took over the region.
The Melinoe, Help Us prophecy reads as follows: "We require and request your assistance. This is no prophecy, merely a plea. We take considerable risk in reaching out thus, though can foresee no other option."
Melinoe, Remember Us
After playing through the Epilogue, you will find yourself back in the Crossroads. Seek out Moros near the Fated List and speak to him to hear his concerns. When you take another look at the List, you will notice that the Melinoe, Help Us prophecy has changed. It now reads Melinoe, Remember Us.
The Melinoe, Remember Us prophecy reads as follows: "We commend your accomplishment, though remain indisposed, and cannot say where. Speak not of this until our Emissary says the words you often did."
That is quite vague, but at least it is something to go off. To proceed with the quest, complete more runs throughout the Underworld and Olympus to search for any clues. You should also speak to Moros at any opportunity, as well as offer him Nectar to deepen your relationship with him. Eventually, Moros will offer some dialogue that advances the prophecy for you and triggers the next step of your quest to find the three Fates.
Melinoe, Seek Us
The Melinoe, Seek Us prophecy is the first one that contains any solid information to go off of, and even that is a bit of a stretch. This prophecy contains seven riddles that you will have to solve to uncover the location of the three Fates. Each of the seven riddles relates to one of the characters in Hades 2.
The goal is to decipher who the riddle is talking about and increase your relationship with them enough that their riddle gets crossed out on the prophecy.
To increase your relationship with the characters in Hades 2, you have to gift them a resource called Nectar. You can also offer them other gifts that trigger small activities to play out, where you can learn more about each character.
You can only give each character one gift per night, so deepening your bond with everyone mentioned in the prophecy could take a while. Especially since you can only progress time by going on another run.
Here, we have each of the riddles listed, along with their answers, so you know exactly who you need to romance to complete the prophecy:
- Seek to know he who is our emissary - Moros
- Seek to know they who created the world - Chaos
- Seek to know he who cast us out - Chronos
- Seek to know she who trained you - Hecate
- Seek to know he who rebels against the Gods - Prometheus
- Seek to know he who labors for the Gods - Heracles
- We shall attempt to reach you thus again.
Most of these characters can be found in the Crossroads, with the exception of Chronos, who can be found between Erebus and Oceanus in the Underworld, Heracles, who shows up randomly on Surface runs, and Chaos, who can be found through Chaos Gates in both the Surface and the Underworld.
The only real challenge here is Prometheus. Prometheus is not a regular character you can give gifts to and have conversations with in the Crossroads. He is only encountered during his boss fight between Mount Olympus and The Summit, so your only chance to talk to him is before each boss fight.
Since you can't butter him up with Nectar, your only choice is to do as many Surface runs as you can until he eventually talks to you about the Fates. There is no real way to predict when this will happen, but keep at those Surface runs, and you will trigger the dialogue eventually.
Melinoe, Find Us
After deepening your bond with all six of the characters in the Fates' riddles, you will trigger the last prophecy in your mission to find the Fates. This one is called Melinoe, Find Us, and it gives you the following message: "You are getting closer. Using our Emesaries gift in the depths of Oceanus, activate it thrice in successive chambers, then purposely return to shadow."
This riddle calls for you to embark on Underworld missions with Moros's Keepsake equipped. Moros's Keepsake has a unique quirk that allows you to become immortal for ten seconds after you die. If you successfully clear out all enemies in the Encounter before the ten seconds are up, you will survive and gain Health, the amount of which depends on the level of the Keepsake.
Your mission here is to equip Moros's Keepsake and embark on a run in the Underworld. Once you reach Oceanus, fight through an Encounter and make sure to leave one enemy remaining. Allow them to kill you, and destroy them before ten seconds pass to activate the Keepsake's effect. Do this two more times. After activating the Keepsake's effect in three rooms in a row, move into the next room and die. This time, for good.
If you complete the mission correctly, you will be spirited to the Fates instead of waking up in the Crossroads like you do every other time you die. There, you will awaken in a strange realm filled with threads in front of the Fates, where they will offer you three questions.
There is much more that takes place before the Fates, of course, including a final cutscene that you can watch after interacting with the Fates, but we won't spoil the ending for you here. It's much more satisfying to experience it and unlock the Golden Age Achievement for yourself.
