Gakuran can be a difficult experience, as you have to figure out nearly everything yourself. Without too much direction, it's easy to get lost in this experience. A good starting point is to figure out how to use your phone, and opening it is the first step. We'll be sharing with you how to open your phone and how to use it while playing Gakuran.
How to Use Your Phone
You'll be able to use your phone immediately after you load into the game. When you're ready, click the Alt key on the left side of your keyboard. This has your character bring out their phone, and you'll see it appear on the right side of your screen.
With your phone out, you'll be able to interact with it as your character holds it. You can click the Left Alt key again to put your phone away, use the arrow keys to access your phone's menu, hit the Enter button to hit ok on your phone, the backspace key to go back, the M key to access the menu, and any of the number keys on your keyboard to click the ones on your phone.
These are the basic commands of your phone, and you'll primarily use this device to interact with other players or to smaller activities, like playing games. For example, you'll be able to add other players to your contacts list by you both having your phones out and holding them close to each other. From there, you can send other players in-game messages by texting through your phone, making it easy to quickly speak together. There's also a camera feature for your in-game smartphone.
Click on the menu icon at the center of your phone to interact with it, and you'll see the full menu of additional options you can choose. Click the Socialink tab to see any players you've added to your contacts list and speak with them. If you ever want to play games, click the games section, and you'll be able to choose from Snake, Flappybird, 2048, Ponk, Spaceshooter, or Breakout.
