Items

There are many items in Final Fantasy XIII, but most of the fall into smaller categories.

• Battle Items are found in the items section during battle. Almost all can be used in battle, but the -sols are used directly outside of battle.
• Weapons are what each character uses in battle.
• Accessories are the stat boosting items each character can hold.
• Components are the items used to increase the levels of weapons and accessories.
• Catalysts are technically components, but they are used to change a weapon or accessory into a new weapon or accessory.
