Gameplay

DragonBall FighterZ is a 2.5D fighting game (3D character models fighting on a 2D plane) where each player controls three fighters. During battle you'll control one fighter at a time, but will be able to call on your team to help out with assist attacks or to switch places on the fly, changing the character you are playing as.

Gameplay in DragonBall FighterZ is a cross between the popular Marvel vs Capcom series, and ArcSys's own Guilty Gear series. There are a lot of mechanics in the game that draw from either of those franchises to make this game an unique, but familiar fighter, to fans of fighting games.
