Transmutation
As of the "Spark of Imagination" update, you can now Transmute Ancient Cores, Ancient Parts, Fragments and Gifts into other varieties. This way, if you find yourself with plenty of one item to spare but desperately need another, you can transmute it at a Timebending Table.
Transmutation consists of two steps: Dismantling and Upcycling.
Dismantling
At a Timebending Table, you can Dismantle items and turn them into Dust. Each item produces 1 Dust, except for higher-level Timebending Cores, which produce Dust based on their level.
- Ancient Cores become Blue Dust
- Ancient Parts become Purple Dust
- Fragments become Gold Dust
- Gifts become Green Dust
Upcycling
You can then Upcycle Dust into other items. Each item takes 1 of the correctly colored Dust (2-3 for Level 2-3 Ancient Cores) and 200 Mist to create.
