There are a lot of different and unique monsters in Darkest Dungeon. All dungeons share a set amount of various enemies, but all the dungeons have their own unique enemies that will be listed below in their respective categories, with the exception of a few various shared monsters among all them all.

These monsters can be found in all dungeons.

Name	Skills
Maggot	Grave Nibble: Deals low damage, has a chance to stun, and increases the stress of the target by a low amount.
Cultist Brawler	Rend For The Gods: Moves the Brawler 1 space towards the frontline, deals moderate damage, and can cause bleeding.
Cultist Acolyte	Eldritch Pull/Push: Moves the target 2 spaces towards the frontline/backline, respectively; Stressful Incantation: Causes low damage and increases the stress of the target by a moderate amount.
Brigand Cutthroat	Shank: Deals a moderate amount of damage to the target and can cause bleeding; Slice and Dice: Deals a moderate amount of damage to the frontline of your team; Uppercute Slice: Pushes the target 1 space while also dealing moderate damage.
Brigand Fusilier	Blanket Fire: Deals a low amount of damage to the entire party; Rushed Shot: Deals a moderate amount of damage to a single target, has a high chance to miss.
Brigand Bloodletter	Point Blank Shot: Deals a large amount of damage to the target, has a high chance to miss and crit; Punishment: Deals a low amount of damage to 2 targets, has a chance to bleed; Rain of Whips: Deals a low amount of damage to the entire party, has a chance to bleed.
Webber	Bite: Deals a low to moderate amount of damage to the target, has a chance to inflict blight; Web: Deals a low amount of damage, increases the stress of the target by a low amount, and has a chance to stun the target.
Spitter	Bite: Deals a low to moderate amount of damage to the target, has a chance to inflict blight; Spit: Deals a moderate amount of damage to the target, has a chance to inflict blight.
Bone Rabble	Bump In the Night: Deals a low amount of damage to a single target.
Ghoul	Howl: Deals a low amount of damage to the entire party, and increases the stress of your party by a moderate to high amount; Rend" Deals a moderate amount of damage to a single target; Skull Toss: Deals a low to moderate amount of damage to a target, and increases the stress of the target by a moderate amount.
Madman	Accusation: Deals a low amount of damage that deals some amount of stress damage while also debuffing the target; Doomsay: Deals a low amount of damage to the entire party while also dealing stress damage.

Ruins

These monsters can only be found in the Ruins dungeon.

Bone Courtier	Tempting Goblet: Deals a low amount of damage to a single target and increases their stress by a moderate amount; Knife in the Dark: Deals a low to moderate amount of damage to the target.
Bone Soldier	Graveyard Slash: Deals a moderate amount of damage to a single target.
Bone Arbalist	Quarrel: Deals a moderate amount of damage to a single target; Bayonet Jab: Deals a moderate amount of damage to a single target.
Bone Defender	Dead Weight: Deals a moderate amount of damage to a single target, can push them back 1 space, and can stun the target: Axeblade: Deals a moderate amount of damage to a single target.
Bone Spearman	Spear Thrust: Deals a medium amount of damage to a single enemy. Deals a low amount of damage to the entire party.
Bone Captain	Crushing Blow: Deals a moderate amount of damage to a single target; Ground Pound: Deals a low amount of damage to all party members and has a chance to stun.
Gargoyle	Flurry of Claws: Deals a moderate amount of damage to the frontline of your team and has a high chance to crit; Tail Whip: Deals a low amount of damage and has a chance ot stun.

Warrens

These monsters can only be found in the Warrens dungeon.

Carrion Eater	Munch: Deals a low to high amount of damage, depending on whether or not the target is marked, and can inflict blight.
Large Carrion Eater	Weakn Prey: Deals a moderate amount of damage, marking the target, and debuffing them with -25% DMG and -10 ACC; Tentacle Devour: Deals a large amount of damage to marked targets.
Swine Wretch	Vomit: Deals a low amount of damage to a target and increases the target's stress by a moderate amount, and can inflict a random disease.
Swine Slasher	Hook It Where It Hurts!: Deals a moderate amount of damage to the target.
Swine Drummer	Drums of Doom: Deals a low amount of damage to the entire team, and can increase the stress by a moderate amount of team members; Drums of Debilitation: Deals a low amount of damage to a single target and can inflict a -10 ACC debuff.
Swine Chopper	Ball and Chain: Deals a moderate amount of damage and has a chance to stun; Butcher's Cut: Deals a moderate to high amount of damage and has a chance to inflict bleed.
Swinetaur	Pig Spear: Deals a moderate amount of damage to the entire party, while also moving himself forwards two positions; Bull Rush: Deals a large amount of damage to a single target, with a high chance to knockback and stun, as well as moving the Swinetaur forwards two positions; Trot Retreat; Moves backwards three spaces; Backhand; Deals a moderate amount of damage to the target and stunning them, while the Swinetaur moves back three spaces.

Weald

These monsters can only be found in the Weald dungeon.

Crone	Curse of Vulnerability: Deals a low amount of damage and can inflict a -10 DOD debuff; Fetid Censer: Deals a low amount of damage, increases the target's stress by a moderate amount, and can inflict blight; Embrace the Dark: Deals a very low amount of damage that increases the target's stress by a moderate amount and reduces torch light by 10.
Gnasher	Rabid Rush: Deals a low amount of damage to a target while also moving the Rabid Gnasher to the front of the enemy party, along with having a chance to cause Rabies.
Fungal Scratcher	Groping Swipe: Deals a moderate amount of damage to a person in the frontline, and also has a chance to inflict Blight; Rend the Marked: Attacks a target, usually marked, dealing a lot of damage; Harmless Swipe: Can only be used in the backline position, deals a low amount of damage while also moving the Fungal Scratcher forward one position.
Fungal Artillery	Mark Prey: Marks the character while dealing a low amount of damage; Rain of Blight; Attacks the backline with a low amount of damage that has a high chance to inflict Blight and a random disease; Escape Cloud: Can only be used when in the frontline and targets the opposing frontline, dealing a low amount of damage that can inflict Blight while also moving back two spaces.
Unclean Giant	Treebranch Smackdown: Deals a large amount of damage to a single target in the frontline, knocking them back one position; Confusion Spores: Deals a low amount of damage that can also shuffle the party; Poison Spores: Deals a low amount of damage that can deal blight.
Ectoplasm	Ectoplasmic Infusion: Deals a low amount of damage but can spawn a Large Ectoplasm in front of the Ectoplasm; Slime: Deals a low to moderate amount of damage to a single target; Cytokenisis: Deals a low to moderate amount of damage to a single target and spawns another Ectoplasm in front of the one who used this move.
Large Ectoplasm	Big Slime: Deals a moderate amount of damage to a single target; Slimesmack: Deals a low to moderate amount of damage to the frontline of your team and has a chance to stun; Cytokenisis: Deals a low amount of damage to a single target and spawns a regular Ectoplasm in front of the Large Ectoplasm.

Cove

These monsters can be found in the Cove dungeon.

Pelagic Grouper	Seaward Slash: Deals a large amount of damage to a character in the front line of the party; Spearfishing: Deals a moderate amount of damage to the backline, pulling them forward one position.
Pelagic Shaman	Stress Wave: Deals a low amount of damage to up to two targets, dealing 15 stress damage and moving the Shaman back one position; Call of the Deep: Buffs a character with +25% DMG and increased ACC and CRT; Ceremonial Cut: Deals a moderate amount of damage to character in the front line of the party, moving the Shaman back one position; Sea Breeze: Heals an ally for a large amount of HP.
Pelagic Guardian	Octocestus: Deals a moderate amount of damage to the front line while clausing bleed; Barnacle Barrier: Guards an ally while also giving itself +25% PROT.
Sea Maggot	Brine: Deals a low amount of damage to a target with the chance of causing a disease.
Deep Stinger	Shocker: Deals a low amount of damage with the chance to stun and debuff the enemy with decreased Bleed Resist; Salty Gouge: Deals a low amount of damage causing bleeding and a debuff with decreased DODGE and the chance of a disease.
Drowned Thrall	Gargling Grab: Deals a moderate amount of damage to a character in the front line and deals 11 stress damage; The Revenge: Deals damage to the entire party, blowing itself up and causing stress damage.
Uca Crusher	Arterial Pinch: Deals a low amount of damage, causing a high damage bleed along with a debuff that reduces healing efficiency; Tidal Slam: Targets a character in the front line dealing a large amount of damage with the chance to knockback the target three positions back and also has the chance to stun them.
