Still a very solid entry, but there a few things that just don’t come together fully. Controlling Leon and his more action oriented gameplay does not feel as fine tuned as in Resident Evil 4 or the Resident Evil 4 remake. Some of the new locations do not feel as memorable as locations in most of the previous entries. Lastly, the story feels a bit tacked on to what has played out so far. It doesn’t serve as the saga transitioning story as much as I would have hoped. Some nostalgic moments and Easter egg moments were endearing and fun to revisit, but others felt lazy or. Requiem is still a very fun game however that provides action and scares

Pokemon Legends ZA’s new real-time battle mechanics is a fun, new approach to Pokemon combat that continues the trend of the Legends side games being Game Freak’s playground to experiment with the Pokemon formula. The combat is relatively deep, offering a multitude of different strategies to employ while also not being too convoluted or difficult to navigate. The new approach shakes things up and offers some difficulty in some challenges, but there can be too many times where button mashing can still get you through far too many battles. The performance and graphics of the game are also a huge step up, a welcome change from Scarlet and Violet’s flawed release. The wnganced visuals and performance also come with some very fluid cutscenes and character animations that reach new highs for the series. However, this upgrade in graphics emphasizes a missing feature of the Pokemon series that has been requested for quite a while. The enhanced cutscenes and character animations are welcome, but the lack of voice acting and audible dialogue feels out of place. It’s only been a small inconvenience up to this point in the series, but the higher quality of graphics in ZA feels off without voice acting, to the point where if this trend continues into the inevitable generation 10 release it would be a true detriment to the game. ZA also falls short with its side mission content. While some quests are fun and have good writing, most are boring and re-used over and over again to simply follow a Pokemon, conduct a straight forward battle, or endure a mindless fetch quest. ZA is a fun yet flawed game that falls a little bit short of the novelty, explorations, and setting of Legends Arceus, but it is still another step forward for the Pokemon series.

A few bugs and crashes only barely lessened the experience of playing. My first Bethesda game and it was incredibly fun. Only gonna lead me to playing more of them

Buggy in certain places, but Sunshine has such a specific feel that it nails with the movement and tropical environments

The new Hyperspace portals, challenges and side quests are at first fun, but they gradually become boring, repetitive and bloated for time. Especially when going after legendary pokemon, the game feels as if it just wants to waste your time. I didn’t regret purchasing the DLC, but it was almost close to feeling that way
