My favorite battle royale somehow?!?! I love going back time and time again, despite never actually winning the game (due to most people left being sweats). The constant new themes based off other m Nintendo games keeps bringing me back for more.

Tetris 99 takes a classic and somehow makes it feel fresh again. The battle royale mode is tense and addictive, but with the DLC it also becomes a great standalone Tetris game, letting me enjoy a simple marathon run even without an online subscription. The core gameplay is pure flow and never gets old, and the skins are a huge bonus. The Game Boy theme in particular hits hard, instantly pulling me back to my childhood (Got it as a gift from my parents for a road trip along with the first Gameboy!). It’s simple, endlessly replayable, and one of those games I can always come back to.
