Metroid Prime Trilogy

It's a blast to play, it's perfectly designed, and it's home to such replayability that even now dedicated fans are still trying to beat their best times of completion. Not many games can work on so many levels simultaneously existing both as an intense, moody adventure of trepidatious exploration into an isolated alien world, but also being one of the best run-and-gun as fast as you can action experiences ever made.

Because of that, Metroid Prime has not only become my most beloved title on GameCube, but also one of my most treasured games of all time. I'm not sure where I place it, but it's very high on the list.

If this NES redo hit the GBA as the first game in the franchise it would have most likely have scored a bit higher in the ranks. The game looks, sounds, and plays absolutely wonderfully, and fits perfectly within the franchise.
