New Tomb Raider Game Developed on Unreal Engine 5 Announced - IGN Daily FixApr 6, 2022 - Crystal Dynamics has announced a new Tomb Raider game and revealed that it will be built using Unreal Engine 5. Announced during the State of Unreal 2022, Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider franchise general manager, Dallas Dickinson promised a "high-quality cinematic action-adventure experience" for the upcoming Tomb Raider game. Dickinson said the team is looking to "push the envelope of fidelity", and is looking to create a Tomb Raider experience fans deserve from Crystal Dynamics. Xbox has officially announced the first wave of games hitting Xbox Game Pass in April 2022, including one we already knew about in advance, MLB: The Show 22. Both MLB and Cricket 22 are available immediately on Xbox cloud and console, while there are a few more games to look forward to across the rest of the month for Xbox Game Pass. Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone aka ConcernedApe, revealed the new game Haunted Chocolatier will include boss fights. In a video livestream, Stardew Valley Barone released background music for a "bee boss" fight. Haunted Chocolatier has no official release date, yet, but we can rest assured Eric Barone is working hard on the next title. Haunted Chocolatier is not a sequel to Stardew Valley, but will have NPC relationships like the previous title.
