A Way Out

The story makes the top five of the game that i personally played the plot and the mechanism were innovational indeed but the split screen was to no good, i understand the developers intention to avoid a classic co-op campaign experience and make a false feeling of the other player experience but its just annoying, it limits your view and you would never get use to it (beside the fact that the game has only 7 hours of gameplay). the mini-games and side objectives where mostly waste of time besides a few, i would prefer fewer side missions but with better mechanism design so you could actually enjoy the time you're spending off the main story. the story as a hole was perfect but in details like certain short-term decisions wasn't logical, i don't get to the details but lets just say that the developers should have spent a little more time and care while plotting the game. the physics and movement and the general mechanisms like driving and shooting isn't something to admire but acceptable for the purpose of this game. I know it was intentional but i won't remain silent some missions were with out a doubt a COPY of the uncharted franchise over all Great story, questionable choice of game-play contents and the split screen is just wrong at least make it optional

Not as captivating as It Takes 2, it’s a strong coop experience nonetheless and as always there’s plenty of stuff to do, gameplay is quite alright, level design is pretty good. The scenario is a bit of a let-down, dialogs aren’t that well written. Character Design is visually awful lmao. OST isn’t memorable at all. Bought it when it was on sale and it was worth the few €s I spent. No replayability at all.

A WAY OUT Un éxito que suma puntos al historial de Josef Fares, y ahora con Electronic Arts. A Way Out un juego que viene a poner de regreso a los olvidados videojuegos en cooperativo y de manera obligatoria, ya que jugarlo individualmente no es una opción, sin embargo solo uno necesita comprar el juego para que vía online u offline pueda jugar tu compañero de manera gratis. A esto se le llama el "FriendPass" el cual podrás compartir con quien tu quieras. La historia sigue a dos presos, Vincent Moretti y Leo Carusso, quienes después de conocerse en medio de una pelea con otros convictos deciden colaborar para escapar de la cárcel y volver con sus seres queridos. La jugabilidad es interesante, ya que te encontrarás con acertijos, buscar la mejor opción para salir ilesos, tomar decisiones en conjunto y trabajar totalmente en equipos. Todo esto se transforma en situaciones muy divertidas que te obligan a interactuar totalmente con tu compañero. Tambien a medida que avanzas en la historia, te encontrarás mini juegos interesantes, que te harán impulsar tu lado más competitivo y tener versus muy entretenidos contra tu pareja de juego. En términos visuales, no es lo mejor que podría ofrecer, pero a pesar de eso siento que cumple y no afecta tanto en la historia, ya que hay que considerar que el motor visual está alimentando dos experiencias muy distintas simultáneamente. En conclusión, A Way Out es un juego para disfrutar en cooperativo. Tanto en jugabilidad, sonidos y narrativa es una experiencia para pasarlo increíble. Por ende, ve y juega este juego, ya que no te arrepentirás, son solo 6 a 7 hrs aproximadamente en el cual no te aburrirás para nada. Acting and scenario are amazing, it brought up a new kind of Coop games that I do really enjoy by now ! Unfortunately, it lost a point to me for the shortness of the game.

The Way-Out is fine, but largely forgettable co-op game filled with many a cliche plot thread and uninspiring characters. The ending does provide some compelling moments that play well into such being co-op game, but the weight such carries is belittled due to the lack of care for these characters / story by this point of reaching the conclusion.
