I am working on an Obituary Index for those Obituaries published in Saskatoon's local newspapers before 1946. I have completed years 1902 to 1924 and 1929 to 1945. Find-a-Grave is very helpful, particularly in finding the first names of women whose obituaries were published using their husband's first names. i. e. Mrs. John Smith. Often burial records include birth dates as well, which is very important in differentiating between generations of family members with the same name.
