Bruce Edward Dean was born April 24, 1921 in Tuskegee, Oklahoma to Ed and Etta (Hudson) Dean. He passed away on March 1, 2010 at Rainbow Health Care Center in Bristow at the age of 88 years.
On May 26, 1940, Bruce Dean united in marriage with Vinita Raper and to this union three children were born. Bruce enjoyed doing yard work, going camping, working on cars, and could fix just about anything. His main goal in life was to be with his wife in heaven.

Bruce is survived by one daughter, Laverne Coffey of Sapulpa; four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bruce Daniel Dean; one daughter, Wanda Lipe; one brother, Roy Dean; One sister, Ellen Creekmur; one grandson, Ronnie Coffey; and one granddaughter, Brenda Pacer.

Funeral services will be at 1pm, Friday, March 5, 2010 at Bristow Christian Center with Reverend Wayne Gemmill officiating. Interment will follow in Bristow City Cemetery.
