constituted a major media franchise of superhero films (derived
from DC Comics characters) independently produced by Warner Bros.
Studios, beginning with Superman, then a Batman-Superman hybrid,
Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, and more. These
are the 15 DC Extended Universe films through 2023,
in chronological order (below). Box-office figures are for domestic showings.
The DCEU's 15th and final film, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,
was released in 2023.
