The HTML to Markdown converter module provides a Drush command for migrating Drupal content from HTML-based text formats to Markdown format.
The module tries to convert content intelligently by processing HTML elements one at a time, validating each conversion by comparing the rendered output of the original HTML against the converted Markdown.
Elements that cannot be cleanly converted to Markdown are automatically preserved as HTML within the Markdown content, maintaining full compatibility.
