Ted is the founder and CEO of Dataminr, where he pioneered the company’s real-time AI platform for detecting risks, events and critical information from public data signals. Since founding Dataminr in 2009, Ted has transformed the company into a world leading AI business that serves thousands of corporate, public sector and news organizations in more than 100 countries across six global offices.
Long at the forefront of AI innovation, Ted has been recognized as a World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer and Business Insider’s 40 under 40 Tech Entrepreneur. He’s also been a featured speaker at Davos, the Aspen Ideas Festival and TechCrunch Disrupt.
Ted earned a BA from Yale University, with a focus on the impact of disruptive technologies.
Balaji Yelamanchili

Balaji Yelamanchili is President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Dataminr and the former CEO of ThreatConnect, which Dataminr acquired. He brings more than two decades of experience as an operating executive and investor in high-growth software companies. As an investor, Balaji served as a venture partner at Shasta Ventures and as an Operating Executive at Evergreen Coast Capital.
Before this, he served in senior operating executive roles, including Executive Vice President and General Manager of Symantec’s Enterprise Security Business Unit and Senior Vice President at Oracle, where he oversaw business analytics and enterprise performance management products. He holds an MS in Engineering from Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge and an MBA from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Peter Bailey

President, Corporate Initiatives
Peter Bailey is President, Corporate Initiatives at Dataminr and one of the company’s founding members. He’s responsible for driving the strategy, business development, fundraising and investor relations critical to growing and expanding Dataminr.
Peter was integral to building Dataminr’s initial data and market entry strategies and is often a company spokesperson at events such as the U.N.’s AI for Good Global Summit.
Prior to Dataminr, Peter was general manager of IAM, responsible for overseeing internal operations. He has an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Whitney Benner

Whitney Benner is the Chief People Officer at Dataminr, responsible for ensuring Dataminr continues to build a diverse, inclusive and performance-driven culture that attracts, develops and retains top talent worldwide—key to the company’s vision and long-term growth.
Whitney oversees HR strategy, organizational engagement, total rewards, internal communications, talent acquisition, learning and development and HR operations. Her 20-plus years of HR experience includes being chief HR officer at Cision and leadership roles at PR Newswire, Medialink and MJI Broadcasting.
Whitney earned a BA in psychology and philosophy from Skidmore College.
Tiffany Buchanan

Tiffany Buchanan is the Chief Financial Officer at Dataminr, responsible for the company’s financial strategy and operations in support of its global expansion and public market readiness. A seasoned finance executive with over two decades of experience, Tiffany brings deep expertise in scaling high-growth technology companies and navigating complex capital markets.
Prior to Dataminr, Tiffany spent 13 years at CrowdStrike and most recently served as the SVP of Finance & Capital Markets. She played a pivotal role in the company’s growth from pre-revenue to over 4ドル billion in ARR.
Tiffany holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Long Beach. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California, inactive status.
Michael DiOrio

Michael DiOrio is Chief Operations and Product Officer at Dataminr. For 10+ years, he has focused on scaling the company’s AI platform for real-time risk detection and its pioneering AI human-in-the-loop team.
He leads a global operations team instrumental in developing 1 million-plus unique sources of public data for Dataminr’s AI engine, and building out new alerting use cases to accelerate commercialization.
Michael is an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves and a term member on the Council of Foreign Relations. He earned a BA from the College of the Holy Cross, an MA from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Gary Hacker is Chief Legal Officer at Dataminr and oversees the company’s global legal operations. Before coming to Dataminr, Gary was the General Counsel at Bai Brands and, prior to that, was Counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Gary earned a BA degree from the University of Delaware and a JD degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Matt Harrell is Chief Partner Officer at Dataminr, where he’s responsible for the overall partner strategy and all indirect revenue from strategic partner routes to market.
Matt brings over 25 years of experience in the cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure markets with expertise in building high-performing direct and indirect go-to-market teams. Prior to Dataminr, Matt was responsible for global channels and alliances at Cloudflare, where he was part of the executive leadership team that grew revenue from pre-IPO to 1ドル.3B. Before that, Matt held leadership positions at Google Cloud, Symantec, Inktomi and Advent Software.
Jeff Kinsey

Jeff Kinsey is a co-founder of and Chief Technology Officer at Dataminr. Since launching Dataminr’s first engineering and AI team in 2009, he has designed and built numerous critical components of Dataminr’s AI platform, leading innovations in predictive and generative AI for real-time event detection.
As CTO, Jeff plays an instrumental role in driving strategic initiatives for the AI platform, including data ingest, stream processing and multimodal event detection. Prior to Dataminr, he operated a technical consulting practice, building analytics tools and software for research institutions and enterprises.
Jeff holds a BS in computer science from Yale University.

Chris Lehman is the Chief Revenue Officer at Dataminr and former President of Global Field Operations at ThreatConnect, which Dataminr acquired. He has spent over two decades in the cybersecurity, software, and computer hardware industries, where he held executive roles at several leading organizations. Previously, Chris was the CEO at SafeGuard Cyber, where he helped drive record growth in New Customer ARR and dramatic improvement in Gross and Net Revenue Retention. Prior to that, he was the Chief Revenue Officer at ExtraHop. Chris also served as VP of Americas Sales and Channel at FireEye, and is a former VP of Sales at Dell EMC, Salesforce, and others.
Joel Tetreault

Joel Tetreault is the Chief AI Officer at Dataminr, where he leads the company’s AI efforts in applied research and engineering. His teams are in charge of creating AI models that detect and summarize breaking events around the world in real time, as well as the next generation of agentic AI systems for real-time event detection.
A scientist and AI innovator with nearly 20 years of experience, Joel has led research teams and built products used by millions at companies like Grammarly, Yahoo, Nuance, and Educational Testing Services. He has more than 200 publications and patents in top-tier conferences and journals in AI.
Joel holds a MS and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Rochester.
Paul Tierney

Paul Tierney is the Head of Public Sector at Dataminr, where he leads the company’s strategic growth and expansion across government and public sector markets. A seasoned sales executive with over 25 years of experience, Paul is responsible for driving the adoption of Dataminr’s real-time AI platform to help public sector organizations manage complex global risk and mission-critical operations.
Paul serves as the Head of Public Sector after previously holding the role of President at Janes US, where he oversaw operations and growth strategy for the defense and intelligence information provider. Prior to that, he spent over seven years at Dataminr as Senior Vice President of Public Sector Sales, where he was instrumental in scaling the company’s footprint across the U.S. and Canada.
Earlier in his career, Paul held leadership roles at Mediware Information Systems (now WellSky) and PwC. He also served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy for six years, bringing a disciplined approach to operational excellence and public service. Paul holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University.
Deb Wolf

Deb Wolf is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Dataminr responsible for elevating the company’s brand, driving customer engagement, and supporting growth goals.
Prior to Dataminr, Deb served as CMO at Lookout, where she pivoted the company from B2C to B2B, expanded its product portfolio from mobile to cloud security, and scaled its go-to-market efforts.
She has 35-plus years of experience growing private and public companies, and has held marketing leadership roles at organizations such as Workday, Integrate and BetterUp.
Deb has a BA in English from California Polytechnic State University, and advises CEOs at three early-stage venture-backed companies in the AI, leadership development and data industries.
