Our People
The Department of Physics consists of about 60 faculty members, including Emeritus Professors and courtesy appointments. More than 80 graduate students and over 20 other researchers, including postdoctoral associates and visitors, keep our research going. We teach more than 100 undergraduate physics majors, many of whom participate in our research. A strong support staff assists our missions in teaching, research and administration.
