Why would you name your kid something meaning "snorting"?

If I am pronouncing the name correctly (NAH-hohr), the name sounds like the meaning! I much prefer the name spelled backwards, Rohan.

I try not to say mean things about names, but I don't like this one at all. I think that it has a weird meaning (to say the very least), and I don't much care for the way it sounds, either.

Snorting? That is such a stupid meaning.
