! THIS IS NOT A SLAVIC GODDESS' NAME. Please, note that this is a "new age" mythology so to speak. "Lada" as a Goddess appears in the book of few authors, none of them are considered to be a trustworthy one. Those authors also gave birth to fictional gods like "Lel'" and "Polel'". All of three names are common in Slavic songs as meaningless parts that sound nice and song-y.Also, "Lada" doesn't mean "wife", it means "good, peaceful, nice". [noted -ed]
It's a pretty name per se, but in my country we always joke about Lada cars because they aren't very good and always break down, so that's all I can think about when I see this name. Nothing really wrong with the name itself of course!
Gender: Feminine Usages: Polish, Serbian, Slovene, Slovak Pronunciation: LAH-dah, LU-dah, "lah-dah" Considered by neo-pagan groups to be the Slavic goddess of love, beauty and marriage. Her name might mean "maiden, girl".
