Knut Anders Sorum is a Norwegian singer who represented his country in 2004 Eurovision with "High". He automatically qualified due to Jostein Hasselgard's Top 10 placing last year. Knut Anders did not crack the Top 10 however.
Notorious norwegian writer Knut Hamsun was a famous bearer of this regal norse name. He won the Nobel prize for literature, one of the most important writers in modern times from Norway, he criticized through his works the social and economic conditions of the norwegian population at the time, specially the countrymen.
Knuts are a currency used by wizards in Harry Potter.

The Norwegian author Knut Hamsun (1859-1952) was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature 1920. During the German occupation of Norway, Knut Hamsun sided with the Nazis. After the war, he was shut up in a mental hospital.
