Don't like this spelling at all. Use Jules.

I'm Judith this is my favorite nickname for my name. Fyi, I'm down voting all you guys who say this is weird.

Jools can also be used as a short form of Julius, Julie, Juliet, Juliana, Julianna, or other names beginning with a similar sound.
What an ugly spelling! I hope people aren't actually naming their kids this. Seriously, just use Jules.

The parents who spell their kid's name this way are FOOLS.

Looking at this name, "Jools", I think you sound like some bored lonely 10-year-old who hacked into this site and posted a lot of degrading names onto here.
This spelling looks extremely silly and stupid.

This is my nickname, first name being Julie. I like it as a nickname, but not as a full one.

Just because you change the spelling of Jewels, that DOESN'T MAKE IT "kooll".

This sounds very foul.

I named my youngest son Julian, assuming that if I used Jude as a nickname then everyone else would follow suit. Of course it wasn't a year and he was Jooly, Jules, and even Julio which isn't even shortening anything. At first I hated it, but then my traditionally English mum started addressing cards to him "Joolz" and when I read it like that it seemed kinda cute, and a lot less feminine than Jooly/Julie. It's cute for a family nickname. When he was teething and still in diapers, I did jokingly refer to him as droolian pee instead of Julian Lee, but it's not something that normally comes to mind and drools is certainly not the first thing I think of when I hear Jools of any spelling. Actually, before I had my son, Jules Verne would have been my first thought association.

Reminds me of "drools."
This is a horrible, immature spelling, and just in case your child doesn't make it in showbiz, they'll have a hard time trying to make a living with this name. If you have a son, name him Julian or Jules, and of you have a daughter, name her Julie, Julia, or Juliet, and call her this, but preferably spell it Jules.
Sorry, but as a full first name: Silly, stupid, illiterate, ugly and cruel to give a real live human being! Shame on you if you do! Sounds like, rhymes with and looks like "drools"! What the heck is wrong with "Jules"? How the heck did this end up on the main database? Good lord, how foul!

Jools Holland is a British TV presenter.
This is the name of Jamie Oliver's (the Naked Chef's) wife.

Well, Jools isn't her (Jamie Oliver's wife's) name, it's Juliette and she's called Jools.
