In my opinion, I love the name Jana; hate the name Johna.

Adding an 'a' to the end of it doesn't make it lazy. If people don't like Gianna or Jana, this is great for you perhaps.

I think it's okay. Pretty dated though.

Sticking an a to the end of a name doesn't make it 'feminine'.

Also consider: Marka, Petera, Matthewa, and Jacka.

This name is garbage.

I'd hate to have this name. It doesn't sound very pleasant, it's just John with an 'a', how lazily thought through. It actually sounds quite trashy.

One could also consider this a phonetic spelling of the lovely Gianna.
