The following are worthy of mention if they're ever added to to GURU or Portage in the future:

Compatibility Shells

  • Amitools has Vamos, which is basically a Wine-like Amiga compatibility layer for Linux.
  • CPM, the ANSI CP/M emulator and compatibility layer for Linux.

In both cases, applications run transparently in a standard terminal with their native scripting capabilities available to the user.
