  • Don't forget to recheck all names of site UI elements referred on some translated help pages. Some of these labels are not translated now, and some of them may became outdated after migration to 1.24.
• Synchronize and start maintain List of applications (Русский) and its subpages
• Create some style and formatting introduction and/or step-by-step article translation guide for begginners in Russian ArchWiki translation team. This page would contain some FAQ, links to help pages, tips about working with MediaWiki-based site and very common recommendations.
• Define all additional requirements, restrictions and recommendations concerning article style and formatting for Russian section of ArchWiki.
  • Decide where we can place these additions, and which of them we can propose for other ArchWiki translators.
  • Some points:
    • translate templates like Template:Accuracy, not to translate, or ignore it at all; (also see Help_talk:Template#Should administrative templates be translated?)
    • if English page contain sorted sequence (in text, list or table), do we need to reorder items if it becomes unsorted in Russian?
    • draw some best practices/recommendations concerning formatting of nested (code) blocks in special blocks (like Template:Tip), lists or indented paragraphs in discussions;
    • could translation of comments in code to Russian break it (when saved with ASCII-superset encodings)? Need to decide when we can do this and when not;
    • same with programs' output in code blocks, do we need to translate it somewhere?
• Collect all "convenience redirects" like Установите in one place.
  • Decide what to do with официальных репозиториях (it has been created just for experiment).

• How to display translated title of article like "Зеркала" on a page (like Mirrors (Русский))? Now it could be acheived with redirects (with a "Redirected from ..." note), but maybe there's some better way. See also [1].
• How to maximally (totally) avoid usage of Template:Related2? It seems "special" characters aren't a problem [2].
• Learn how Wiki Monkey works and how it could be extended with new features.
• Test how normalization works on a section names (i.e. could formatting prevent navigation by URL fragment)?

It seems all formatting is ignored, but it's not recommended to use formatted section headings (Help:Style#Section headings);

• Consider creation of localized redirects for unmaintained Russian pages.
• Create some table with all English and respective Russian categories to keep track of its translation status.
• We could maintain some list of "most wanted" English pages which is not translated yet or have very poor/outdated translations and requires our attention in the first place. For example, Partitioning (Русский), which describes an important part of installation process.
• Similarly, we could periodically (once per month-two) create and discuss some planning mainly to define list of important pages that needs to be translated first (or can just do it continiously depending on actual progress).
• Consider improvements for ArchWiki Translation Team (Русский) page. It should be more friendly for interested readers and help them to start contributing wiki as simple and fast as possible.
• Look for alternative translation of term "maintainer". Current variant "мейнтейнер" is widely used on some pages, but still could be replaced.
• How to translate term subzone (about timezones): as "субзона" or "подзона".
