Rich Czarnecki, MSU Chief Information Officer, has been named the 2025 Michigan CIO of the Year ORBIE Award winner in the Large Enterprise category. The award was presented on Thursday, December 4, during a ceremony at The Henry in Dearborn, Mich.

Vital to this effort is the LMS Help Page, a resource that empowers instructors to build consistent, accessible, and student-friendly Digital Hubs within D2L. When the MSU College of Law officially integrated with Michigan State University in 2020, it marked the beginning of a significant transformation, not just in governance, but in technology. For decades, the College of Law operated independently, maintaining its own servers, file shares, and IT infrastructure. For the third consecutive year, The MSU College of Human Medicine has partnered with MSU IT to bring provider education and patient self-management videos to life. These videos are part of a series of educational training materials designed to support youth and school professionals across Michigan and beyond.
