Reboot Google Nest or Home speaker or display
A reboot of your Google Nest or Home speaker or display may fix several issues. There are two ways to reboot your speaker or display.
From the Google Home app
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
- Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
- Tap Home and then All devices , then touch and hold your device's tile.
- Tap Settingssettings icon and then More More menu and then Reboot.
Unplug your speaker or display
- Unplug the power cord from your speaker or display.
- Leave it unplugged for one minute.
- Plug the power cord back in.
Note: A reboot of your speaker or display isn't the same as a factory reset. Learn more about factory reset of your speaker or display.
