Connect devices to your Chromebook
Connect to Bluetooth devices
If your Chromebook is compatible with Bluetooth, it can connect to devices like:
- Keyboards
- Mice
- Speakers
- Headphones
- Headsets (audio only)
Connect to bluetooth devices
Check if your Chromebook Bluetooth compatible
- On your Chromebook, at the bottom right, select the time.
- Find Bluetooth .
- When the Bluetooth appears, your Chromebook is Bluetooth enabled.
Turn Bluetooth on
- On your Chromebook, at the bottom right, select the time.
- Select Bluetooth .
- Turn on Bluetooth .
Pair a new Bluetooth device
Important: You can’t pair your phone to your Chromebook with Bluetooth. Learn how to connect your Android phone to your Chromebook.
Before you pair a device to your Chromebook, on the device, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on, discoverable, and it’s in pairing mode. To make sure that Bluetooth is on, check your device’s instructions or seek support for your device.
- On your Chromebook, at the bottom right, select the time.
- Select Bluetooth .
- Toggle On .
- Select + Pair new device.
- The device you connect to your Chromebook needs to be in pairing mode.
- Select the device you want to connect.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- To confirm whether your device is connected, repeat steps 1 and 2.
- Find your device under "Currently connected."
